Young musicians who already play a string instrument will receive instruction on learning to play traditional American music, music that is fun, invigorating, and part of our national heritage. Participants will also have the option of learning to play traditional 'fiddle music' instruments, such as the mandolin, ukulele, and guitar. Classes will include basic 'fiddle' music instruction, understanding how 'fiddle' music works (music theory), and both large group and small band performing.
Registration is available through https://form.jotform.us/CSYSA/fiddle-camp-registration.
Fiddle Camp instructors will be drawn from local experts, including members of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony staff and Black Rose Society.
