You can join the statewide movement and make a big impact in your community. This year, Colorado Gives Day is on December 10, but donations are being taken now and it’s easily the best day to give! Visit our page here to give: https://www.coloradogives.org/organization/csysa

This is the day that our community members can show nonprofits how valuable they are to the community by making donations for support their efforts! Nonprofits can not be successful without community support and the CSYSA is extremely grateful to our supporters. Donations help us keep tuition low and fund our financial programs which make it possible for all members of our community to participate in our educational offerings. We are grateful for your support in furthering our mission in our community and making it a better place to live for everyone!

Your Impact: Outreach & Partnerships

Serving our community is a top priority of the CSYSA. We offer over 60 performances a year in our community and online, 20 of which are part of performance tours for each of our ensembles to area schools. The CSYSA actively seeks to strengthen our community offerings by also partnering with other local artistic and service groups. Your support makes a difference in the community. Your generous donation will be doubled by our matching donors, allowing students from all communities to participate in our programs and its partnerships with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Colorado Springs School District 11, and the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale.

Through Music, We are One

We are the most comprehensive instrumental music program for youth in this part of the country. Our mission compels us to provide for artistic development through high quality, diverse music experiences that enrich the cultural environment of local, national and international communities. The Mozart Strings Project, an outreach program for beginning string players, is offered in school districts where there are no string programs. The Youth Symphony plays for thousands of children and adults yearly, focusing on audiences that have limited exposure to live orchestral music.

Our ten youth ensembles connect families to the life-altering power of musical performance, both in the Pikes Peak Region and around the world. Whether they’re playing at our home base in Colorado Springs at the Pikes Peak Center, or far afield in New York’s Carnegie Hall, New Zealand, China, Australia, Bulgaria or Japan, our students benefit from our comprehensive instrumental music program.
